This is a VERY special creation to emerge from the Emma's Bears Studio - a stunning soft sculpture baby dragon.

Spellbound is made from some of our hand dyed dense long pile alpaca in a soft lavender purple with a darker backing. She is fully 5-way jointed (head and all four limbs), so can be placed in a standing position, but prefers to sit due to the weight of her chunky tail and her long claws. She is stuffed well with polyfill, steel and glass fill. Her belly gusset and spine-spikes are sewn from a gorgeous quilting quality 100% cotton fabric in a custom printed dragon scale pattern. Her inner ears are a teal faux suede and her paw pads are an ivory faux suede. We've hand-pulled her toes and fingers and intricately shaded them in pigments to complement her belly scales. 

Spellbound looks out through a pair of our large hand-painted glass eyes in flecks of aqua, greens and golds. We've hand-sculpted her eyelids, horns and all 16 of her sharp little claws in super strong epoxy, tinting them with a shimmery metallic lavender acrylic to throw the light in just the right dragony way.  

Her petite baby dragon-wings are also handmade in golds and greens and throw the light beautifully. They are fully removable (attaching to her back with a safety pin), so can be taken off if you decide.
