Guthrie is our very last offering for 2017. His name is Gaelic for 'Windy Place', which seemed quite appropriate as a summer storm is heading right towards us right as I type!

Guthrie is made from some of our gorgeous long pile alpaca in a combination of hand-dyed smokey-grey, stormy-teal and the natural ivory white (as a cheek and chest insert). He is fully T-pin jointed and has been stuffed firmly using a mix of polyfill, glass and steel shot. This weight plus his over-sized belly and long legs means that he is best suited to being a sitting bear. 

Guthrie looks out through a pair of our stunning handpainted glass eyes in a blend of teal, turquoise and silver. We've hand-sculpted some deep brown polymer clay eye lids for him as well which helps to give him quite a knowing and wise expression. He has a rather generous hand embroidered teal perle cotton nose and features some silk-dye shading to his muzzle and behind his eyes. His paw pads have been cut from a darker teal faux suede that match the deeper colours in his eyes, and we've freehand painted his paw pads detailing.

Guthrie wears a very handsome dragonfly pendant around his neck and is a one of a kind artist bear.
