This gorgeous cuddly bear has been made in our classic 'tiny premmie' design; part of a unique collection of four bears made in the same piece of hand-dyed curly kid mohair to show off the different sizes and shapes in our toddler and baby bear range. (This range of bears have been deliberately designed so that they can be dressed in standard human baby clothing if so desired, so you can shop for their outfits yourself).
The mohair we used to create this collection of bears was a unique mystery-dyed piece. At the end of each rainbow dye batch we complete, we compile all of the left over dye mixes into one big pot, and dye a piece of fur to see what mystery colour results. Last session's mystery dye pot produced this incredibly rich chocolate-copper-taupe coloured effect on a surprisingly deep violet backing!
Button has been made predominantly in this stunning mohair, with hints of the natural ivory white for his chest and inner ears, and finished with long ivory alpaca for his chubby cheeks. His nose is hand embroidered in a matching soft taupe DMC perle cotton and he looks out through black glass with faux suede whites.
Button is fully T-pin jointed, and is stuffed rather well with polyfill and steel shot weighting, which has been distributed all throughout his body and limbs for a lovely weight to his hug. His hand and foot pads have been made in a soft chocolate faux suede, and feature our 3D pad detailing with inktense shading.
Button looks absolutely perfect displayed just with his stunning fur on show, but we have given him (and his siblings) each a cute brushed gold-tone teddy pendant.
