KITS - 21" Curry Puff faux fur bear
This listing includes the bulk of things you need to make your own huge 21" bear in our gorgeous 'Burnt Mustard' dense faux fur.
You Will Receive:
* a 1/2m piece of our Burnt Mustard faux fur (you will have a little extra fur left over in case of error)
* a set of 50mm joints
* a pair of 16mm black glass eyes
* brown DMC embroidery thread for nose/claws
* And you get a copy of our BELARIUS pattern and some additional hints and tips for trimming his face and toes.
(if you wish to do the shading effect around his eyes, nose and feet you will need to source either some silk-dye, copic pens of inktense pencils - but this is certainly not necessary to create a gorgeous bear).
[NOT INCLUDED: you will need matching sewing thread, a sewing machine or strong sewing needles for hand sewing, polyfill stuffing/ bead weights, sharp scissors, a pair of pliers for turning the cotter-pins in the joint set, a little comb to brush out the fur on his cheeks while trimming, and any white non-fray fabric if you wish to add this hint of white behind his eyes (felt, leather, suede etc are all good option). [We don't include paw pad material as we have simply used the fur fabric for his feet, just trimmed back around the toe area]
Suitable for intermediate bear making skills, or patient beginners as this fur is VERY thick and silky soft, and can be difficult to work with if you're not used to long pile fabrics. Trickiest aspects of the design include the foot pads with embroidered toes and scissor sculptured cheeks, but beyond that this is a very straightforward bear.
Comes with simplified, step by step instructions and photo of the finished bear for reference.
All pieces are at correct size - no enlarging or reducing required.
All patterns are copied exactly from my personal stock and have been hand drawn and designed by me. They are also my well loved designs and have been tested on numerous occasions - So i know that they work! Seam allowances, openings. fur directions etc have been pre-marked on the pieces.
I am also totally ok with any bears made from my patterns being re-sold. Just reference the use of my pattern when describing/tagging the bear.
[Please note that the bears in the photos are simply examples of bears i have made using this pattern and are not included in the sale]
